Dirty boots, Champagne and Timber!!!

Fr: Un jour Neringa et moi nous avons découvert un beau château pas loin de Brioude. En fait nous avons cherché un autre château pour faire un picknick. J'ai pris la mauvaise rue et on a découvert qqch plus plus plus jolie. Le château était prive, alors nous avons monter des barrières... après nous avons eu la possibilité de visiter un château très romantique, magique!!!. Et la plus bonne chose était que nous avons eu tout le château pour nous mêmes:)

Eng: One day Neringa and me we discovered a nice castle not far away from Brioude. Actually we searched another one for having a picknick there. I took a wrong road and we finally arrived at a beautiful castle in a small village. It was a private one, so we had to climb some fences to get in. It was empty and we had the possibility to visit a very romantic castle. Magic!!! The best thing was that there wasn't anyone! It was as if it was our castle!

Fr. Après, nous avons decidé de retourner un jour pour prendre des fotos avec le sujet riche, château et champagne. Le jour nous sommes retourné avec Marie, nous avons demande les voisins si on peut faire des fotos... ils ont dit "non". Mais on a déjà acheté du champagne, on était déjà très chique et Marie elle s'est reveillé à 9h après qu'elle a fait la fête jusqu'à 5h le matin. Alors c'était claire qu'on va faire des fotos en tout cas! Let's hit the road again... après 20 min chercher nous avons trouvé un autre château. Plus grand et très jolie aussi. En plus ce château est A VENDRE!!! 2 mio euros! Est-ce qu'il y a qcun qui va me donner 2 mio euros??!! Je vais le redonner! Je jure;) Mais du coup c'était sure que nous ferrons des fotos là bas. Nous avons monté encore des barrières et nous nous avons trouvé sur un paturage des chevaux. Des chevaux dangereux et mechant! Ils nous ont attaqué! Alors pas des fotos sur la paturage... mais quand meme nous avons trouver un endroit pour prendre des fotos et pour nous marrier! Moscow wedding au chateau MEDIEVAL des XII-XVII° siècles de Lespinasse:) Avec des chaussures très sale....

Eng: After we decided to come back to have a nice fotoshooting there. The subject would have been rich, castle and champagne. The day we came back with Marie to take pictures, we asked the neighbours if it's possible to do so. They negated... But we had already bought champagne, we were well dressed and Marie got up at 9 o'clock after having celebrated until 5 o'clock in the morning. So it was clear that we had to take some pictures! We hit the road again to search another one... 20 min passed by and we finally found a very nice big and beautiful castle. On top of that it was for sale!!! 2 mio euros! can someone borrow me this amount of money please. I'll give it back! I swear;) We climbed some fences walked through the mud and found ourselfs on a pasturage of some naughty horses! They attacked us and tried to eat Neringas bag! So we went back...but found another very nice place where we celebrated a "Moscow wedding" with champagne in front of a middle-age castle of Lespinasse:) With dirty boots...

Fr: Dimanche, après un weekend qui était très fatigant pour moi (vendredi et samedi la fete jusqu'à 5/6h le matin) nous avons aidé un copain à Lavaudieu de couper son bois pour chaufer sa maison pendant l'hiver. Déjà le matin il a commencé à pleuvoir... à 10h Guillem nous a appellé si c'est sure qu'on viendrai, Neri s'a chouché à 6h le matin aussi, a complettement oublié qui elle est, ou elle est et qui parle avec elle^^ Mais après avoir faire une tentative de parler normalement elle est arriver de convenir d'un date avec Guillem pour l'après-midi. Arrivé à Lavaudieu habillé chaud et étanche nous sommes venu a l'endroit ou il y a eu du bois à couper avec Mehidi,le frère de Mehidi, Aline, Guillem, Cecilia, Cristel et des tronconneuses;) Après nous avons coupé et travaillé commes des idiots, nous etions très sales et mouilles!!! Mais quand il a commencé a faire nuit nous avons terminé le travail pour rentrer chez Guillem. La nous avons bien mangé:) Plus tard nous étions très très fatigué et sommes rentrés à la maison. Là nous avons vu que nous avons oublié les clé pour la maison à Lavaudieu et ce n'était plus possible de rentrer parce que nous n'avions plus de l'essence... Alors nous sommes allés chez Aline pour boire un tée et pour appeller Cristel concerné les clés (ne plus de credit) à minuit...

Eng: On a rainy sunday, having had an exhausting weekend we helped a friend to cut firewood for the winter in Lavaudieu. At 10 o'clock in the morning Guillem (friend whom we helped) called Neringa, who went to sleep at 6 o'clock in the morning, woke her up and at the beginning of conversation she didn't realize where she is and who is speaking to her^^ After having tried to speak normally she arranged the meeting at Lavaudieu in the afternoon. We arrived in Lavaudieu, waterproof dressed went on to the place where we started working immediately in the rain with Mehihi, his brother, Aline, Cristel, Guillem, Cecilia and chainsaws. When it got dark we went back to Guillem to have diner:) Later we were very tired and went back to Brioude. There we noticed that we forgot the keys at Lavaudieu. But we couldn't go back because we had no more fuel and no credits to call someone. So we went to Aline's place at 24h to have some tea and to call Cristel for the keys...

FR: On a commence notre week-end avec Georges Brassens tranquille et jolie chansons qu'on a écouté dans la voiture pendant notre voyage à la petite village Chandron. Mais la la la la on n'a pas trouvé beaucoup des tranquillité dans cette petite village avec 5 maison. On est resté dans une grand, 19 siècle maison qui était un hôtel à cette époque et maitenant le propriété de Joel, une femme qui habite tout seul là bas, mais elle a 40 matelas pour les invités. Et cette maison c'est pas justement une maison simple avec une lady qui a 62 ans. C'est une maison ou chaque mois vers 40 personnes viennent pour organiser ou participer dans une concert avec la musique de noise, jazz ou electro. Il y a une grand chambre avec une scène, une bar construit avec des morceaux d'une voiture, un lit et d'autres materials et aussi il y a un grand grand cheminée qui est allumé pendant les concerts. Responsable pour les concerts c'est l'association "LE PAKEBOT" qui existe déjà 7 années et il y a 200 groupes qui ont déjà joué dans cette maison extraordinaire.

The crazy house

EN: We have started our weekend with calm and nice songs of Gorgeos Brassens which we listened in the car while going to the small village called Chadron. But la la la la la we did not find any calmness in that small village with 5 houses! We stayed in 19th century house, which in the old days was a hotel, but now belongs to a woman called Joel, who lives there alone, but has 40 mattresses for guests!

This house is not just the house with 62 years old lady, but it is a house where once or twice a month around 40-50 people come to organise and participate in the concerts of noise, jazz or electro music. In the house there is a small concert hall, with a stage, a bar constructed from parts of car, bed and other material and huuuuge fire place which is lighten during the concerts. Responsible for organising all these concerts is organisation called Pakebot. It was founded by several friends 7 years ago and its goal is to organise concerts and festivals. Already around 200 bands had held a concert in Joel's house.

FR: Donc, moi et Thomas, on a participé comme bénévolles pour aider LE PAKEBOT organiser le concert. Maintenant nous sommes des membres de Pakebot! On est cool :D
Samedi matin on a fait des courses au marché à le Puy-en-Valey, aider cousiner, organiser les boits (pour chaufer la maison), préparation les lits pour dormir etc...

EN: So me and Thomas this weekend worked as volunteers in Pakebot organisation and helped in arranging the house for the concert, musiciens and other volunteers. In the morning we went to the market of Puy-en-Valey, after helped cooking, arranging the wood to heat the house, preparing beds for sleeping etc.. we are also now the members of Pakebot, we are cool! :)

FR: Le soir on a mange avec 25 personnes, les musiciens, autres bénévoles de Pakebot et étrangers.. :) Le dîner était bien, avec du vin, du fromage et des bonnes conversations, comme toujours en france. Et après avoir diné le concert de NOISE a commencé. Moi, j'avais bessoins des buchons pour les oreilles et je n'étais pas tout seul! :)

EN: In the evening we had dinner with around 25 people, musicians, other volunteers of Pakebot and some strangers :) Was a great food with wine and cheese and conversations. Like always in France.
And a moment after dinner the NOISE started! I really needed ear plugs! and I was not the only one! :)

FR: La musique Noise est trop fort pour mois, mais j'aimais bien les concerts. Les groupes ont joué avec beaucoup d'energie! Pour reposer les oreilles, les gens ont profité la sombre et frais nuit d'octobre allumé par pleine des étoiles en avant des conversations.

Noise music is a bit too strong for me, but even though it was an enjoyable show with a lot of sprouting energy. To rest our ears, people spent some time enjoying the dark, chilly and full of stars october night just sitting and talking in the terase with black contour of montains somewhere in horizon.

FR: Le matin après tout le monde est se reveillé avec le grand desir de boir du café. Moi, qui ne bois pas du cafe normalement, a bu deux tasses. Dormir avec de la lumière d'une lampe sur les rues qui a brilé precisement dans mes œils et des gars autours de moi qui ont ronflé, étaient les raisons pour la consomation d'une dose du café pas très normale pour moi:)

EN: Next morning everyone woke up with a desperate need of coffee. Me myself who normally doesnt drink coffee at all, drunk two cups. Sleeping with street light directed to my eyes and snoring guys around had something to do with it :)

FR: Mais en tout c'était une bonne expérience et un bon example de faire connaisance avec la manière comment le travail volontaire dans les associations ce passe en France. Il faut que la Lituanie l'apprend.

EN: But all in all it was a great experience and good example of how organisations based on voluntary work in France and it is something what Lithuania should learn. (Dont know about the Germany) :)

On est rentré à Brioude avec le même, tranquil et jolie chanson de Georgeos Brassens...

Le weekend des anniversaires!

FR: Ce weekend nous avons celebré deux anniversaires! L'anniversaire du café Lecture ou nous travaillons et l'anniversaire de Michael (un homme anglais qui a soixant-dix ans maintenant). Alors un weekend avec pleine des plats et boissons... Neringa et moi, nous avons decidé de faire une semaine de la bonne santé à cause de ce malsain weekend. J'ai déja pris 4 kilo (merde!) est il faut que je les perd encore!!!

ENG: This weekend we celebrated two birthdays! The Cafe-Lecture's where we are working and the other one of Michael (a very nice british man who had his 70th birthday). A weekend, very unhealthy because of the various drinks and awesome dining! We decided to have a healthy week without meat, drinking and smoking.

FR: Quand je suis rentré du seminaire je suis resté pour 5 min à la maisons et après je suis tout de suite partir aux café lecture. C'était le premier l'anniversaire du café, alors quelque chose extraordinaire et importante! Il y a eu des groupes, beaucoup de gens et plaine de chose a boire et manger. Après qu'on a bu quelque verres du vin, biere et punch on a danse beaucoup! Les musiciens étaient super et les gens ont passe un bon vendredi soir. Le samedi nous avons commencé à travailler a 16h... Installer la technique, la scene, les bars et les instruments. Tout le monde était en peut fatiqué et "malade". Mais si on peut boire et danser on peut aussi travailler le jour prochain;) Près du cafe lecture il y a des gens qui detestent le café et ses activités qui sont vraiment super!!!!!!!! (a mon avis). Ils étaient très en colère à cause de la musique et du "bruit". Ils étaient violentes contre des bénévoles qui ont aidé préparer le jour. Plus tard ils ont mis de l'eau qui croupie sur les rues pour deranger l'anniversaire.... Je sente très desolé pour les gens comme ca, parce leure vie semble être très très ennuyeux et triste, s'ils se comportent comme qun qui n'a jamais vu quelque chose positive comme l'atmosphere au café lecture. Mais quand même on a passe un bon soiree avec encore des groupes, des animations, poetry slam, de la biere, du danse et des gens vraiment sympa. Nicel!;) Little New York etait active! Mais le lundi il est devenu Brioude encore...

ENG: When I came back to Brioude from the seminar I just stayed 5 min at home and went straight to the birthday of cafe lecture. It was the first birthday, therefore something very special and important! There were bands, many people and a lot to drink/ to eat. After some glasses of wine, beer and punch we danced a lot to the music of DJ Thomas (not me)! The next day we started working at 16h... Almost everyone was tired, but people who can drink, should be able to work the next day! This day the neighbors of cafe-lecture started making trouble. They used violence against the volunteers because they don't like the cafe... but the police solved the problem. I feel very sorry for such a kind of people, because their life seems to be so boring that they start making trouble because of nothing. Very strange and fucked up people... But nevertheless we had again a great evening with poetry slam, concerts, animations, beer, dancing and nice people! On monday little New York became Brioude again...

FR: Le dimanche nous avons célébré un autre anniversaire. Michael a 70 ans maintenant! Il vient d'angletaire et il vie avec sa famille à Brioude dans und GRAND maison luxurieux! L'anniversaire était vraiment international visité: Allemagne, Lituanie, USA, France, Angletaire, Ecosse, Pay de Galle. Quand on est arrivés, la premiere chose quand fait est, bien sur, boire qc avez l'alcohol... toujour la meme chose^^ Après nous avons mangé comme des rois et écouté la musique de deux jolie fille francais! Avec des plusieurs verres, les gens ont commencé à chanter et danser encore. Alors tout le weekend la danse, boire et la musique. En fait pas mal!!!:)

ENG: On sunday we celebrated the birthday of Michael who became 70 this day. He is from England and lives with his family in Brioude in a HUGE house with jacuzzi and so on... We celebrated a really international birthday: Germany, Lithuania, England, Wales, Scotland, France, USA. When we arrived, the first thing which was put in our hands was a glass with alcohol in it, of course! Afterwords we dined like kings and listened to the music of two beautiful french girls. After several glasses of wine and champagne the people started singing and dancing again... So the whole weekend dancing, drinking and music... Not bad actually!!!:)

Toulouse et le seminaire a Foix!

FR: Le 24.9. Neringa et moi, nous avons prie le train vers Toulouse à 7h le matin! Nous sommes arrivés à 17h le soir. Alors 10 heures de voyage! Avec une voiture on voyage 4h et c'est moins chèr, mais c'est la France!...

ENG: The 24.9. Neringa and me took the train to Toulouse at 7 o'clock in the morning! We arrived at 17h.... So we traveled 10 hours. While with a car you travel 4h, but that's France!...


FR: Quand même nous sommes bien arrivé et avons fait du couchsurfing chez un jeune couple. (Merci beaucoup à Tom et Elie!)

ENG: Never the less we arrived well and couchsurfed at a very nice young couple. (Thank you Tom and Elie!)


FR: Toulouse est très très jolie avec des vieux maisons et beaucoup de gens extraordinaire. Nous avons trouvé des magasins des vêtements d'occasion et on a acheté beaucoup de vêtementes. Après j'ai pris des fotos de Neringa das une cathedrale avec ses nouvelle vêtements. Le soir nous avons rencontrer des amies de Tom et Elie de Haiti... nous avons visité une des plusieurs bars et avons passé une bonne soiree.

ENG: Toulouse is a very, very nice city with old buildings and a lot of extra-ordinary people. We found some great second-hand shops where we bought a lot of stuff... Afterwords we visited a cathedral where I took some pictures of Neringa with her new coat and hat. In the evening we met some friends of Tom and Elie from Haiti to drink some beer in one of many nice pubs in Toulouse. We had two very nice evenings in Toulouse.



FR: Le dimanche nous avons continuer à voyager à Foix ou nous avons visité un seminaire dans le cadre du service volontaire européene.

ENG: On sunday we went on traveling to Foix where we visited a seminar for one week concerning our voluntary service.


FR: Pour moi c'était le seminaire d'arrive et pour Neri le seminaire mid-temps. Dans le seminaire nous avons rencontré des bénévoles de tout la monde qui travailent en France. De Moldawie, Pologne, Pays de Galles, Allemagne, Espagne, Italie, Lituanie, Lettuanie, Portugal, Hungarie, Turkie, Russie et Macedonie... Pendant le jour nous avons echange des expériences et avons recu des informations concerné notre service. En plus nous avons présenté notres pays et cultures origine. Le soir on a bien bu, fait de la musique, discuté et dansé. Les gens étaient super gentil et nous sommes déja inviter de visiter Bordeaux, Marseille et Montpeiller pour rendre visite aux autres bénévoles. Moi j'ai passé une bonne semaine à Foix et je suis sure que Neringa a eu une bonne temps aussi. Le l'a entendu rigole vraiment beaucoup:)

ENG: For me it was the arrival-seminar and for Neri the mid-time... There we met a lot of people from all over the Europe who are working as a volunteers in france. From Moladwie, Poland, Wales, Germany, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Hungaria, Turky, Russia and Marcedonia... We talked about experiences in our service and received information all around the topic of Europe and exchange. In additional we presented our respective country and culture to the other participants. In the evenings we played music, discussed and danced. In general the people were very kind and we were already invited to visit Bordeaux, Marseille and Montpeiller. I had a very nice week in Foix and I guess that Neringa enjoyed it as well. I heard her laughing a lot:)



FR: Foix etait aussi une ville trés jolie... j'ai vraiment l'impression que la France est plus jolie que l'Allemagne! Si on voyage en train en Allemagne je ne profite pas de regarder l'environment qu'on passe. Mais ici voyager en train et regarder la nature, les rivieres, les forets, la montagne, les écueil et la campagne est vraiment magnifique! Heureux d'etre ici!

ENG: Foix was a very nice city as well! I have the impression that France is realy more beautiful than Germany. Traveling by train in Germany is not very spectacular. I don't really enjoy the landscape... But in France it's different! You travel along wild rivers, cliffs, canyons, mountains, huge fields, lakes, the sea and forests. I'm happy and glad to be here:)
